Shirin is Director-Business Development based in Islamabad. As Fellow member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) and Associate member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of England & Wales (ICAEW), Shirin has more than 15 years of professional experience gained in the United Kingdom and Pakistan.

She completed her articleship with Moores Rowland, London and worked with KPMG, London post- qualification before moving back to Pakistan. On her return, she worked with Engro Chemicals in Karachi before moving to Islamabad. Shirin has been working as an independent financial consultant for the last 12 years covering areas such as:

  • Governance and accounting policy reviews
  • Strategic Planning
  • Review of internal control systems and procedures
  • Due Diligence
  • Succession planning
  • Preparation of accounting procedures manual
  • Preparation of financial feasibilities and business plans
  • Human resource development workshops including finance for non-finance managers, financial analysis, leadership, communications skills and experiential learning programs.

She has worked for a diverse set of clients in Islamabad including Hakas Group, Ali Medical Center, PPAF, HOAP International, Al-Faysal Investment Bank, Burning Brownie Cafe which has helped her to develop an in-depth understanding of business processes in order to be able to effectively advise her clients.

She has also been involved with ICAP’s women committee and social work with SOS Children’s Village, PIMS children cancer ward and Sultana Foundation.

Zainab has extensive experience of technology enabled transformations, innovation and technology management. Having spent 20+ years of developing business and IT strategies, setting up governance structures, nurturing teams and transforming ideas into reality, she has created value for businesses. She has led cross cultural, virtual and matrix teams across MENA / CIS (Middle East, North Africa and Russia / CIS) and has also worked in UK and USA. Her varied experience and passion to find solutions to real life problems, has won her international accolades for innovative and transformational work including APICTA and the Computer World Honors program for Economic Development.

Zainab is a Certified IT Governance professional and has worked as CIO in leading organizations in Pakistan. She has led Engro Foods IT team for 5 years from inception where she developed the IT team and their IT strategy and digitization strategy to help the young organization leverage technology to achieve its aggressive business goals. At GSK Pakistan, when she joined in 2013 she developed the IT strategy for the local entity including the multichannel marketing strategy. At GSK she was also the IT lead for regional initiatives like deployment of Veeva and Gross to Net programs which were both very critical for business. At GSK, she was also part of the global business process advisory group who was responsible for developing Global Commercial Operations Roadmaps and Strategies. She also led strategy and execution of key regional initiative for HCP engagement to develop sales force capability of 2500+ medical representatives across MENA markets for use of digital tools and enable them to support webinars for their customers.

After working for a Big 4, top global Pharmaceutical, leading FMCG, teaching university students and failing at entrepreneurship once, she has recently moved on from her role as Head of IT for GSK Pakistan & Iran to pursue another passion, another idea and setup her own Education Technology venture. She is also working as an Independent consultant for IT Governance and Security projects.

She is a graduate of Computer Science, with an MBA, along with certifications of CISA, CGEIT, and PMP. She has also attended courses at Technology Leadership Institute, UC Berkeley.

Ayesha Anam Muzammil ACA

Ayesha is Manager Professional services based in Karachi, she is an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP), Associate Member of ICSP. In addition she has done her masters in Economics as well. She has more than 4 years working in pharmaceutical industry and professional experience of over 5 years in medium size firm.

Based on her wide exposure and in depth skills she has expertise in Taxation, corporate affairs, due diligence, internal and external audit Moreover, she has exposure to a wide spectrum of clients with a variety of work experience has provided me with an in-depth view of the key business processes, risk management procedures, accounting and internal control systems, corporate governance and regulatory as well as tax and accounting framework for a range of industries. Moreover, it has enriched her professionally and equipped me with the traits needed to deal with a variety of situations in an innovative, effective and efficient manner.

Aafreen Kazi

Aafreen is based in Lahore, she is an associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) and Pakistan Institute of Public Finance Accountants (PIPFA). She has completed her professional training from KPMG Pakistan in 2014 and developed multiple skill set in professional services while gained experience in Manufacturing, Servicing, Financial and Non-Profit Sectors. Later she joined Atlas Honda Ltd. as Assistant Manager Finance, in the Budgeting & Reporting Department where her experiences comprised on Financial Management, Budgeting, controlling & management accounting areas.

Aafreen is associated with UCO in early 2018 and responsible for looking after Lahore operations of the Firm. Her effective managerial and professional skills are enabling the Firm to retain existing clients and to identify and develop new relationships at her location.

Aeraj is a qualified Chartered Accountant from Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) and completed her professional training from KPMG Pakistan in 2013. Aeraj was professionally trained and gradually led teams for assurance and risk management consultancies at KPMG for medium to large public and private sector MNCs in manufacturing and banking sector.

Aeraj is part of UCO’s offshore services team, primarily engaged in providing offshore accounting services to international clients. Sahrish is associated with UCO in early 2017 as Online Associate. She is a certified Quickbooks Pro-Advisor and as part of UCO’s offshore services team, primarily engaged in providing accounting and taxation services including regular Quickbooks support and advisory services to a diversified international clientele.  Her effective professional skills are enabling the Firm to retain existing international clients and to identify and develop new relationships.

Obaidullah Zubery-MPA, LLB

He is heading the human resource function of the firm including supervising varied HR services provided to multiple clients based on their need. He has a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Karachi and possesses more than 8 years working experience.

He is responsible to maintain necessary systems, procedures and controls for certification of the firm for International Standards of Quality Control-1 (ISQC-1). He successfully engages a pool of over 100 associates available to work online with the firm and adopt effective internal control system for their monitoring, provision of quality service and timely submission of deliverables. He has full command and exposure in various areas including training & development, administrative management, performance management, recruitment & selection. Possesses exceptional communication skills with an ability to integrate HR functions with business strategies.
